Tap Korea has no accounts and no server of its own. The only data that leaves your device goes to Google Analytics.
What is collected
Through Google Analytics: the language you are viewing, which categories you open, which phrases you show or play, and standard access data such as approximate region and device type. No names, contact details, or anything you type.
Why
To find out which phrases travellers actually use, so the phrasebook can be improved. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
Stored on your device
Your voice choice (female or male) is kept in your browser only. It is never transmitted anywhere and disappears when you clear site data.
How to opt out
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics storage is off by default and no cookies are set. Elsewhere you can block cookies in your browser, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
About the translations
Phrases are provided for reference and their accuracy is not guaranteed. In medical or emergency situations, do not rely on this app alone — call 119 (ambulance) or 112 (police) directly.
